Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct (“Code”) governs participation in all Thrive Spaces, including:

  • thrive.xyz

  • The Thrive Power List (“TPL”)

  • Proof of Value (“PoV”)–related environments

  • Guardian interfaces (Human and Agent)

  • Apps, dashboards, and APIs

  • Community channels, including Discord, Twitter/X, Telegram, Discourse, Snapshot, Agora

  • Live events, calls, and direct messages involving moderators or reviewers

“Thrive,” “Thrive Foundation,” “Thrive Protocol,” “we,” and “us” mean Thrive Foundation, a Cayman Islands foundation company, including its affiliates, moderators, and administrators.

By participating in Thrive Spaces, you agree to abide by this Code. We may update this Code at any time, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of modifications.

1. Definitions

1.1 User

Anyone accessing or participating in any Thrive Space, including Builders, Projects, Guardians, moderators, partners, and observers.

1.2 Builder

Any individual or team submitting Applications, Milestones, or contributions to the ecosystem through Thrive.

1.3 Project

Any team or protocol submitting information or being evaluated for inclusion on the TPL.

1.4 Guardian

Anyone who researches, validates, or reviews Power Signals. Includes:

  • Human Guardians, and

  • Agent Guardians (automated software agents).

1.5 Power Signals

Evidence, metrics, documentation, or other information submitted for PoV validation and TPL evaluation.

1.6 Manipulative Behavior

Any action intended to distort, bias, undermine, or unfairly influence the TPL, PoV, or any ranking or evaluation mechanism.

2. Core Conduct Expectations

Users must maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment across all Thrive Spaces.

2.1 Be Respectful

  • Treat all Users with courtesy.

  • Debate ideas, not individuals.

  • No harassment, intimidation, defamation, threats, hate speech, or abusive behavior.

2.2 Foster Inclusion

We welcome participants regardless of background, identity, nationality, or beliefs. Discrimination or exclusionary behavior is prohibited.

2.3 Maintain Professionalism

Use constructive, fact-based communication. Avoid disruptive, hostile, or misleading behavior.

2.4 Protect Privacy

Do not share:

  • Personal information

  • Private messages

  • Contact details

  • Sensitive data

…without explicit consent.

2.5 Stay On-Topic

Keep discussions relevant to Thrive, PoV, the TPL, Guardianship, or the designated topic of a channel or thread.

2.6 No Spam or Unauthorized Promotion

This includes:

  • Repetitive posting

  • Advertising products or services without authorization

  • Irrelevant self-promotion

  • Mass DMs or unsolicited outreach

3. Integrity of the Thrive Power List (TPL) & Proof of Value (PoV)

The TPL and PoV rely on decentralized, evidence-based verification of value. All Users must safeguard their integrity.

3.1 Truthful Submissions

  • All information submitted by Projects, Builders, or Guardians must be accurate, evidence-backed, and submitted in good faith.

  • Misrepresentation of traction, KPIs, team information, revenue, or operational activity is strictly prohibited.

3.2 No Manipulation

Users must not engage in Manipulative Behavior, including but not limited to:

  • Fabricating data, evidence, screenshots, or metrics

  • Creating artificial traction or bot activity

  • Colluding with other Users or Guardians to influence outcomes

  • Coordinated voting or validation patterns intended to skew PoV

  • Bribery, coercion, or incentives for favorable validation

  • Using multiple identities or Sybil accounts

  • Deploying Agent Guardians designed to spam or distort PoV

  • Reverse engineering scoring mechanisms to cheat

Manipulative Behavior is grounds for immediate removal and escalation.

3.3 No Interference with Guardians

Users must not:

  • Pressure Guardians to validate or reject signals

  • Attempt to identify or deanonymize Guardians

  • Influence reviewers through inducements, threats, or coordination

3.4 Guardian Responsibilities

Human Guardians must:

  • Validate information objectively

  • Use evidence, not personal preference

  • Disclose conflicts of interest

  • Abstain where impartiality is compromised

  • Maintain confidentiality of non-public reviewer discussions

  • Act in alignment with Thrive’s mission to verify value fairly

Agent Guardians must:

  • Obey rate limits

  • Produce high-quality, non-malicious outputs

  • Not overwhelm systems or spam the PoV pipeline

  • Clearly identify themselves as automated when applicable

3.5 Project Responsibilities

Projects must:

  • Submit truthful and verifiable data

  • Update inaccurate or outdated submissions

  • Not impersonate other teams

  • Not submit confidential third-party information without authorization

  • Not engage in traction fabrication, misleading claims, or selective omission of material facts

4. Use of Thrive Spaces

4.1 Platform Rules Apply

Users must comply with rules of the underlying platforms (e.g., Discord, Twitter/X, Telegram).

4.2 No Illegal Content

Users must not post or share:

  • Illegal materials

  • Malware

  • Exploits

  • Sexual content

  • Violence or gore

  • Unlawful financial solicitations

4.3 Conflicts of Interest

Users with material conflicts must:

  • Disclose the conflict

  • Refrain from participating where the conflict could bias outcomes

Guardians must abstain from validating Projects in which they have direct financial or personal interest.

4.4 Security Prohibitions

Users must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

  • Circumvent security controls

  • Reverse engineer tools

  • Deploy harmful automation

  • Exploit vulnerabilities

5. Sanctions, AML, and Prohibited Users

Users may not participate in Thrive Spaces if they are:

  • Located in, resident in, or associated with Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus, or the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, or Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine

  • Listed on OFAC, OFSI, EU, UN sanctions lists

  • A Politically Exposed Person (PEP) or their close associate or family member

  • Attempting to use VPNs or masking tools to evade restrictions

Violation results in immediate removal and permanent ban.

6. Reporting Violations

To report violations, Users may:

  • Use in-platform reporting tools

  • Contact moderators directly (when appropriate)

  • Email: legal@thrivefoundation.xyz

Provide:

  • Screenshots

  • Links

  • Message IDs

  • Context

  • Evidence of misconduct

Reports are confidential to the extent possible.

7. Enforcement Actions

Moderators may take proportional action, including:

  • Content removal

  • Muting, timeouts, or temporary suspensions

  • Permanent bans

  • Project removal from the TPL

  • Power Score resets or adjustments

  • Revocation of Guardian status

  • Flagging Projects for manipulation

  • Disqualification from funding or ecosystem programs

  • Escalation to legal or compliance teams

  • Notification to ecosystems or partners (for severe misconduct)

We may act without prior notice if harm, risk, or manipulation is detected.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

This Code works in conjunction with Thrive’s Privacy Notice.

Users must:

  • Not share others’ personal data

  • Understand blockchain interactions are inherently public

  • Exercise caution when sharing identifying information

Certain Guardian activities may be logged for safeguarding PoV integrity.

9. Relationship to Other Policies

This Code operates alongside:

  • Thrive Terms of Service

  • Thrive Privacy Notice

  • Funding program rules

  • Guardian program rules

  • Ecosystem partnership terms

  • Platform-level terms

Conflicts are resolved in the order above.

10. Updates

Thrive may amend, update, or replace this Code at any time. Updates will be posted publicly, and continued participation in Thrive Spaces constitutes acceptance.
